"Very disappointed. After over 20 years at this location I’ve decided to take my business to a different agent. I received many years of good service here, but that is no longer the case. It is obvious that customer service is not a top priority here anymore. I have noticed these changes as more experienced employees moved on and new employees moved in, including the agent. Just for example, a new employee was allowed to handle my issue over the phone but this took four different phone calls and 2 hours. The new employee had to keep hanging up and calling back after speaking to others in the office for help. Eventually “Misty” took over and seemed more annoyed than I was with the situation. In dealing with Misty she used phrases like “I’ve been in the insurance business for over 20 years” and “I’ve worked for other insurance companies and this is how everyone does it”. These are not the kinds of people that I want to deal with for a simple policy change, much less when I have a life changing event happen to someone in my family. It’s my suggestion that you take your business elsewhere. Quality of service at a place like this is easily overlooked, cause if you’re like me you just pay your bill. When you’re down and out, I’m sure these are not the people that you want in your corner. UPDATE 09/04/2024 Thank you Virginia, for such a rapid response to my review. Had you responded this quickly when I needed assistance, I may still be your customer. You could have reached out immediately, or right after I switched agents to see what my concerns were. Instead it seems you are more worried about how you are portrayed on a public platform rather than customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, my review was not written for your benefit. Your response suggesting that your employees weren’t able to satisfy my needs because they were limited by company and legal guidelines is not valid. My issues were only solved because I found a creative solution no thanks to any of your employees. But, nice try creating a rebuttal before you know the details of the situation. With over twenty years of being insured at your location, I feel that I can provide others with an honest opinion of my experience. If you don’t care for my review, it’s okay I don’t need one of those special “Thank You’s” that you give your top reviewers."

"We decided to move over with StateFarm over a year ago, and when we finally needed the agency, Misty was unprofessional and concluded that since she has been in insurance for 28 years that she doesn’t make mistakes. Lastly we spoke to Virginia and when I mentioned her agents unprofessional comments she failed to acknowledge my concerns. No empathy for their customers at all. Would not recommend."

"If you haven’t been to this agents office then I have to say you are missing out! I’ve been to many State Farm offices and this one by far is NICE! They have coffee, snacks, water and other non food goodies! Now, the staff is always friendly, helpful and will do what an agent is supposed to do! Daisy is always polite when she answers the phone, Lisa can’t help but smile and be available all day and Tammy is always available for a conversation! Virginia is a wonderful agent, but I don’t get to see her as much because she is a busy lady! Overall if you are looking and in the Sealy area, then you should stop by!!! Why are you waiting? So glad I made the switch!"
